During the Earth Resistance Invasion of the Star Wars Galaxy that was an attempt by the Humans of Earth in order to gain the attention of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, The Earth Resistance launched a full Invasion of Nylon, which Unknown to them was a vital Imperial Factory world that was also the cause of most production of the Galactic Empire's most heaviest war supplies for their war against the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
During the Assault on Nylon, with only limited Resources that Earth had from captured Imperial Star Destroyers and Transports, the only hope in trying to gain the attention of the Alliance to Restore the Republic was to show the Rebellion that the war was happening on another part of the Star Wars Galaxy, which in turn would cause the Rebellion even more suspicion on why the Empire is being attacked so deep in its territory, in areas that are considered to be impenetrable by anyone in the Galaxy.
Following the initial Invasion the Earth Resistance had to fight their way through the rocky hills, while under heavy Imperial forces, despite receiving heavy losses, the Earth Resistance was able to break through the Imperial Mountain defenses, and advance toward the Imperial Fortress City state of Pora, which begun the siege of Pora weeks later in 3 ABY.

During the course of the Earth Imperial War, the Earth Resistance Invaded Nylon, in an attempt to try and gain the attention of the Alliance to Restore the Republic in the Star Wars Galaxy, which unknown to them was that Nylon was a vital Planetary War Factory that was fueling the Imperial War against the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War.
