HUGE UPDATE: CELEBRATING ARKANE 20
Hello everyone, as you will know a few days ago the 20th anniversary of Arkane Studios was celebrated, Arx Insanity wishes the best to our favorite developer and for this, we celebrate these 20 years with 20 images from the mod, in addition to giving some information about the current state of development.

90% of the remastered textures have been completely done, currently working in the ice caves (they are hard to make) the Ylside bunker (I want to redesign and make it more atmospheric) and generic item textures such as weapons and their bloody skins, various items and new ones.
The lighting for all levels has been completely redesigned and renovated, in order to obtain a good result and increase the atmosphere of the game, each scenario has its own personality and says something to the player, all the lighting has been finished, although there are still some details to be polished later, the project is always evolving.
Gameplay has been greatly improved, many details await in the mod, from offering food to a dog in a more natural way, frogs and apples with random colors, random loot, improved stealth, new playable levels, ideas and content from the Arx Fatalis Beta, easter eggs, new characters, lore, missions to completely new mechanics like alchemy weapons, rooftops, drop attacks, sedatives, exotic runes, amulets and much, much more. (If you don't like the new mod design you will be able to download a pack with textures and lighting only, as some of you already requested).
WHAT IS IN THE WORKS?:
The remaining textures are being worked on and the new gameplay design is being developed, in addition to a massive bug fix, new sound effects are being created and the old ones are being remastered, a new soundtrack is being composed and recorded for new parts of the game, trying to implement reverberation effects to the game, also new voice acting will be available only in english and subtitled in spanish, italian, french and polish, for the moment the russian version was stopped because there is no a contributor nowadays, so if you are interested to contribute for the russian version you can contact me, also a lot of cinematic and minimal details are being worked on, scripting and more natural events, even fixing item coordinates.
A new mode "Immersive Mode" has been developed, which consists of a new mode with no HUD and no icons, which changes and offers an intense and completely different experience for players.
3 new difficulty modes are being developed: Normal, Insanity and Nightmare (Secret Mode), each increasing the difficulty in different levels, from stronger enemies, more NPCs and more challenging modes.
Now Arx gives more messages to the player, including visual narrative, bug fixing and world addons, for instance from detailed scripts for the dwarf forge, proper angles and timers for the forged weapons, new sound environments and a lot of issues and inconsistent things in the game have been removed or fixed to give a more immersive experience.
IMMERSIVE SIM DESIGN:
Various aspects have been improved and added to the game, making the world of Arx more complex but simple to understand, the player can observe and experiment with the world around him and have intuitive interactions, thinking and looking for new solutions to a problem.
Now the player can play more freely, even being a pacifist, without killing any NPC to save the world from Arx.
Now some player decisions will affect the world around him, being able to get up to 6 different endings in the game depending on the player's choices.
A MORE DETAILED WORLD:
From highly detailed scripts to precisely positioned fireplaces, mugs and apples, pestilence effects, easter eggs, secret cut-scenes and more, the mod's priority has always been to focus on details, yes, first I develop details before other priority things haha.
Probably no new screenshots or videos of the mod will be published since I want everyone to enjoy the mod in the best way, there are many surprises waiting for all players, waiting to be discovered. For instance in the image below you have 3 colored apples, but they will change of color always in every game you start.

RELEASE DATE AND TRAILER REVEALED!!: OCTOBER 30TH
Finally, I'm happy to announce the Arx Insanity release date, after 6 years of development the mod is in a final state and it's getting solid, so the date is close and the mod will be released on OCTOBER 30TH 2020, starting with a beta release!.
Development is intense and day to day the mod is being improved and approaching the conclusion, the long wait is almost over.
