We've been making a lot of progress in a few key areas lately, and I thought I'd pass it along to anyone who's interested.
The first thing is the radar screen, which shows all friendly players, buildings, and vehicles in the map. It also doubles as a mini-command window, which can be used to place markers for other players on your team to see.
The second thing is our new building damage system. Buildings now sport a number of effects for each level of damage, which can be as gratuitous as the designer wishes.
Third, we've been working on coding the configurable weapons, and the results are very cool. Below is a shot of a test weapon with a working LCD screen. I've also added two turret shots, showing off the dual fire modes.
