Ok, so much about the visual stuff, now some more information:
As you can see and read, i haven't revealed the new mod name yet, and of course i haven't told you what the third playable faction will be. So, will it be the Ori? Will it be the Wraith? Will it be the Replicators? Hihi, you can talk, discuss and speculate about it in the forum, but you must wait till the next big update^^. Furthermore, our former Co-Lead Larkis has started a new project with our german Community called "SGEaW - Reloaded". He will, with the help of forum members, redo the Final 1.0 for EaW. Means, he will code it also from the scratch, leave out the non-working stuff like the tech system, events and so on, fix the bugs like the multiplayer error, the bombing run error and add some new things like real multiplayer GC maps. So, in some months you will hopefully get a complete, bug free Final 1.0 for normal EaW. Of course it won't have all the features of the current release, but i think around 90% are realistic. Don't know if this project will be finished cause Larkis is the only "real" member of this project, but i think there are enough keen hobby modders out there, that wanna help us. Due to language barriers, we try to realize this project only with german members, but if anyone of you is interested in helping us, please contact me!

Firstly, guys, glad to see you WHERE going with the foc version, not reworking the EAW version, I will now hug you. Better yet, hugglesnugglebunnykins will do it for me.
Secondly:@mangotropici: It'll probably be the replicaters or MAYBE the ori, seeing how they already have a replicater base (work on the rendering for replicaters btw, its just fugleh) and have just 'released' an ori station model. PLus it was origionaly intended ot be the replicaters....

i wish i hadn't sold my EAW to *SGC*gunner15*SGC* but hey that was way back when i had no valid computer... i would prefer to have asgard as the 3rd race but meh...
well.... in my opinion it should be the replicators.... cause they have all those unused turrets and units that they made for them...

Sorry for double post, but to answer the question of wth is the 3rd side going to be. Unlike EAW, FOC allows for multiple factions to be added and or replaced. This means that they could be having both the replicators and the ori as playable sides. Though there's also the chance of the Wraith being a playable side also. I mean come on people, the wraith were and are still the major bad guys in Atlantis.
There will be only 3 playable races, cause a "playable" race in our definition is one with a full set of buidlings, units, heroes and sounds. And this is simply too much effort for 2 new ones!
i hope it aint wraith lol, i hate there ships atm way underpowered too, ob it will change hopfully and they dident ave enough cannons and not enough range on weapons to easy to pick off xD
