American president candidates
In 1956, President Nixon's first term in White House is comming to the end and America is waiting for another presidential elections. Nixon is very popular in the Republican party, but he have a strong opposition in general Douglas MacArthur, former commander of the American Forces in the Pacific and national hero . Can MacArthur defeat Nixon in Republican primaries? And what will happen if MacArthur actually becomes president? And what about the Democratic party? Whou will lead them to the battle of the White House?
Situation in China
After bloody civil war Chiang Kai-shek's Kuomintang (of course with western help) defeated the communists and became the absolute leader of China. Since end of ther war in 1950 China still haven't recovered. Communist rebels are still hiding in remote mountains all across the China. Chiang Kai-shek and army rules with help of martial law and the economy is in ruins. Can the Chinese dragon rise from the ashes like a phoenix?
