For our game, To The Sea, we have updated low-poly aesthetics, guidance, stamina, in-game upgrades, and end-of-level camera systems. We have updated those to add a sense of progress and so the game feels more "tied together". We have been taking note of our feedback sessions and looking at the problems players regularly face, we think better guidance would help a lot. Also, for many of people, they had a lot of bad experiences with the movement and many of other people felt it was great - we have narrowed down it to a mouse sensitivity issue and we added a slider to change that as players felt fit. We are working on a better-looking river trail for water and we offer sneak peek of what is to come if you look at the sea! We are trying to bring the same shader and water-y effect to the river - so be on the lookout for that in the next iteration!
