Update: It's fixed, hopefully!
WARNING: THE OCTOBER 13TH UPDATE TO THE SOURCE SDK HAS BROKEN HAMMER. PLEASE AVOID UPDATING IF YOU CAN.
reads the Hammer Editor Page on the Valve Developer Community.
I'm sure that if you're a developer of a Source Mod, you are furious. They say to avoid updating, but due to Steam's smart yet redundant (as shown many times by Garry's Mod.) auto-update system.
Here is what Hammer Editor looks to me right now in cc_1:
However, I'm sure that right now in Bellevue, Valve is frantically trying to fix the editor. I mean, it's like cake without the frosting, it doesn't work! I've got plenty of new ideas to expand the level and put a secret way to the end of the level which I'll get to work on after this update is fixed. For now, I play GMOD and listen to Pandora.
Good News
I have some new stuff to tell you!
- The mod will be compressed into a small .7z (7-zip) file format which will be delivering the game into a small file size of about 50-90 KB. (Which means shorter download times and more fun)More info on my blog.
- The Portal Gun and other cubes and stuff like that aren't rusty (bloody).
Hopefully this update will be fixed and I'll be able to continue working on the mod.

Help you any? (sorry for the repost, put this in the wrong spot ^^)
No, it didn't. I'll just wait it out.
I really wish Valve would make a stable version before releasing and breaking everything.
All of the Source SDK programs look like they stepped out of a Windows 98 computer. They look horrible.
Check out my mod! I have a tutorial in the tutorials tab! (to fix it!)
Good ol' Valve eh?
Just got an update. Hope it's "Le Big Solution."
No more dark textures, it seems to be working for me.
VGUI Model browser still doesn't work though
