Believe me I hope that's true, but from what I've seen and heard I doubt it highly.

If I make a companion into The Lord of a castle and then fight on the same battlefield as him/her will their banners show up or just be white dots?
I'm pretty sure their banner will show up.
Does the game still crash after playing 15 mins?

I have played this for about an hour, so far my only complaint is that the new font is absolutely horrible. It's too small, and sans-serif doesn't fit the style of ASOIAF. Please change it back, preferably with a small update rather than having us wait until the next version.
Not very nice this is true but it takes less space on screens only good thing with that font !
If it really pains you that much you could change it back yourself.

Heavy Targaryen Knights don't have boots
any advice on how to manage a large army now that weekly costs have sky rocketed? Or is there a way to change it in game?

Please remove or allow key binding of shield bash. I have lost SO many tournaments and arena fights because of it. Its dysfunctional and just sets you up to get killed.
Freelancer is is bugged in this one if I join a army they go with out me and when I want to speak with my commander he suddenly becomes myself...
I might be wrong, but is it possible that in this version the tournaments don't include fighting from horseback? All the tournaments I entered were Melee fights only, and this wasn't the case in previous versions. You also get random weopons and everyone has the same armor in another color. In my opinion it makes the tournaments a rather dull affair, because you can't recognize who you are fighting anymore. Is it true there are no more tourneys with horses? Or did I visit the wrong cities? Anyway letting characters fight with their own weopons and armor in tournaments seems way more fun to me. Knights in the books all have their own armor as well when they fight in Tourneys, and if I recall this was the case as well in earlier versions of the mod. It is a shame to let such an interesting feature go to waste, in my opinion...
I've downloaded latest version 1.31 , but when I launch the game it says v1.160 (it is, because there is no nights watch).
Anybody knows how to solve to this?
You sure you selected version 1.31 in the setup menu? It pops up right after you press play mount and blade in steam.

Just finished downloading this and tried to start playing. It starts up no problem and I can go through the game no problem, but ALL text is jarbled nonsense. I can't read any of it and I am playing in English, but it looks like some kind of text bug. Help?

figured it out delete both the data.xml file, and the font.dds file which is in the textures folder

Goddamm, I ******* love this mod, and, except for the first day it worked perfectly, but today I tried it again and the saves that yesterday worked perfectly crashed after playing a few seconds.I tried every fix out there, none worked.
I hope at least that tomorrow it will be running okay
