A great ending to a humble beginning...

My first mapping project for CE and my last mapping project for CE. 3 years is a long time and each map has evolved bit by bit and improved with each build and remodel. I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I did developing them.

Here's a quick run down of each map and its play style:

Amplitude - This map uses a heavily modified version of the lockout model from halo 2. I personally remodeled many sections and completely re-textured it from the ground up. I also did the environmental modifications to improve the visuals. This is definitely a great Slayer and Team Slayer map for 4 to 8 players.

Circle Pit - One of the first maps I ever made, though it has changed a great deal since back then. This map is built for 1 on 1 and 3 player FFA. It uses a lot of shield doors and grav lifts to increase the game play and make it harder to grenade spam your way out of any situation.

Dismal - This map uses parts of 343 Guilty Spark and Grove to create a nice interesting Vehicle CTF map for about 10 to 16 players.

Harbinger - Most people will recognize this map from Halo 2. It is not a rip though. The model was originally done by snafubar. I later picked it up and remodeled it to improve the game play and then I used textures from halo 2 to unwrap it. It's great for Slayer, CTF and King of the Hill. It's also a great snipers map. I suggest anywhere between 4 and 10 players for this.

Highground - This map takes inspiration from Halo 3 but is not a remake. Too play this map properly make a game type that is 1 Flag CTF with a 3 minute offense to defense switch and a 3 minute time limit with 3 capture to win. This will be a lot like 1 flag from halo 3. The map is fun for about 4 to 8 players on 1 Flag CTF and Slayer.

Lefty - Have you ever wondered what HangemHigh would be like if it were symmetrical? Well here's the result. It was a simple map to make but it played exceptionally well in Slayer, King of the Hill and CTF. I suggest 4 to 12 players for this map.

Pipeline - This is a nice snowy map designed primarily for Slayer but also is fun for oddball and king. It's a small map so 2 to 6 players is all you need.

Snowtrap - Everyone should recognize this map by now. It is some of the best fun you will have in snipers and CTF for halo ce. Its a massive map so you will need at least 12 to 16 players.

Station Omega - This map is basically "The Pit" from halo 3 based on a space station. It's a fun map and great for 4 to 8 players especially on CTF and Team Slayer.

Substation - This map is based on a forerunner structure built inside of a cave in a ocean cliff side. It's a cool environment with a good variation in game play between sniping and CQC. It's a great map for 4 to 8 players in Slayer and CTF.

Vertigo
- Vertigo is a simple arena map with a nice twist on vertical combat with interesting side rooms that link the map together to improve flanking and ambushes. It's a great 1v1 map and can support up to 6 players in Oddball and Slayer.

Modifications:

- Default Field of View is set to 85 on all of the maps
- The radar sensitivity has been lowered. You can now crouch walk to stay off of the radar.
- Backpack weapons are integrated into all of the maps.
- The mongoose from yoyorast island 2 has been added to some of the maps.
- Assault Rifle accuracy SLIGHTLY increased
- Plasma Rifle damage increased
- Plasma Pistol tracking increased
- Needler increased damage and tracking
- Fuel rod is now a charge based gun that is similar to the spartan laser.

Nice to see you finish this inferno. You gonna cut the BLAM! engine stuff now and head to the greener pastures of UE3?
