1.6 is out.

Weapons:
-Poison Choppa. Average melee weapon but poisons the enemy, helping your warboss krump them better.
-Pokkit Rokkit: A hand held rocket launcher that has a shorter range but fires faster than Tankbusta rockets.

Armour:
-Dok's Harness: Akin to the SM's AOE heal.
-Bomb Rack: Akin to SM'S poison grenade accessory.

Items:
-Fightin' Juice: Boosts the melee power and damage resistance of an ally, like the Apothecary's Stimulants armour.
-Cybork bits: Vastly increases the staying power of the Mad Dok.

New CSM melee Unit: Possessed. Done.
-Starts with bolt pistols, can get Plasma or Melta pistols.
-Mark of Khorne: increased melee resistance.
-Mark of Tzeentch: increased ranged resistance.
-Mark of Nurgle: increased health regeneration.

Definitely a good idea for Eldar. Space Marines maybe, but less so than the Eldar as they have a good hitpoint pool and armor to survive fights to begin with. Maybe a 10% mitigation for marines and 20% for Eldar?

I personally think this should be exclusive for the Eldar since i feel like horde factions such as Orks already have a hard enough time to fight marines as it is.

But if you really want to include it then a small 6-8% mitigation would be suitable enough for me. Since Eldar are relatively squishy for the most part then sure why not, it does make perfect sense for them to have it.

To explain, their current damage reduction would be nerfed so that the overall durability is around the same.

It would just mean that instead of taking 50% damage from most sources, they would take 75% damage with a chance for them to take no damage at all.

I mean it's worth a try, although i could potentially see it as being an annoyance to some players. I'm personally fine with the system as it is but adding this could make the mod stand out even more.

Nope I'm not a coder, can't do that, but unzipping a file in a directory is as easy as it can be.

Have you considered adding in the Necrons as a playable race, to finish what the Destroyer 40k Mod couldn't do? =)

That would attract SO many more players back to DoW2 it's not even funny!

But wait, if you don't have 3D Modelers on the team, then how have you managed to add in all these new models into the game that were not there before????

I get that you did pick up after the Destroyer 40k mod's models, but what about the ones that Destroyer 40k DIDN'T have, that this mod does?

Shuma and a lot of others at Elite and WoA had a lot of stuff they did not manage to put in when they abandoned their projects. I'm adding them in as I find them.

This is a one man project. I'm the Modding Frankenstein who revives old mods and adds them together to give them new life.

If I could 3D model there would be a lot of more stuff in, like Land Raider Terminus, Obliterators, etc.

Necron stuff is just two models currently without skins, and porting stuff from Dow1 is illegal.

Then how about asking the Destroyer 40k Mod Creator for the models he had for the Necrons currently? He's already made a video of them on YouTube showing them ingame as it is.

Hell, it's something. Right?

I'll try to see what he thinks if I can reach him.

And also, you said that you revive old / dead mods and give them new life, yes? Well, I know the perfect one for you that you may or may not be aware of that could be a complete game-changer to DoW2 as a whole!

It is called "Ultimate Warfare". And it actually brings back BASE BUILDING into Dawn of War 2! Basic Base Building, yes. But it's still Base Building none the less!

If you can somehow salvage this mod and bring Base Building into Vengeance of the Blood Ravens, that would be an UNBELIEVABLE Achievement, that would bring SO MANY PEOPLE back over to Dawn of War 2 once again, en masse! That was the #1 thing that turned away DoW1 Purists when DoW2 came out, and we finally have a solution to that problem. This could also allow you to organize what units are built at which structure as well; allowing for more strategic gameplay options!

Here is the last known link to the mod that I could find. I implore you to please take a look at it and see what you can salvage from it:

I can't read that, where is the download link?

Also I can not ethically include stuff without the original maker's permission.

I have been putting in some base building elements with Waagh banners, Webway gates, bunkers and teleporter homers.

With the help of Google Translate, the download link is visable here:

I.gyazo.com

And as for ethics on this one, I doubt you'll have to worry about that here, and this is why:

When this mod was on the Relic Forums before they shut down, the original creator of the mod announced that he could no longer continue the mod due to IRL problems, and he said that anyone who wishes to take up the flag is welcome to.

So yes. I do believe that more or less gives you the A-OK to go ahead with it, since the last version of this mod was released when Retribution FIRST CAME OUT over 5 years ago. He's long since abandoned this mod entirely, and will not be coming back.

So go ahead, dude. It's all good. =)
