1.5 next week, and uploading guidelines. news

We were aiming at releasing 1.5 this week, but no. There's been significant feature creep (we've got powered rails now, and lightning hitting a pig will turn it into a zombie pigman), so we don't have time to get it out this week.

Uploading - How should it be improved?

Hiya everyone. I was just about to make the rule change (make the rules for uploading a feature, and make the text on the front page a link), but then I thought you, the community, should have a say on what goes into it, gets improved, or is removed.

I am not the most, well, competent person in phrasing things out and putting out guidelines for what is and isn't allowed, so, I'd really appreciate it if I could have your help.

Here is what we have right now:

In the comments, as well as the usual news banter, please add any rule you think should be added, or comment on other's suggestions. to make it stand out, please format it like "--> There should be less spam <--". then it will be easy enough for you all and myself to filter what's a news comment, and what's a rule suggestion.

Please note, I'm not disabling uploads due to texture packs and mods, as well as downloads like Invedit and the like. I also cannot stop the public uploading specific types of downloads (singleplayer map, texture etc. basically, all of the options you have in the drop-down menu (ModDB, if you're there, this would be an ideal solution!)).
Also, we can't change any layout stuff, and Notch is unlikely to EVER use his account again, let alone to say anything or reply to PMs. so, really, the only way it can be managed is via me sorting through every download, and a set of things to put in place to lessen the load of spam, intentional or not.

If you are suggesting a rule, can you please try to make it measurable as well! thanks in advance everyone!
