I am working on a mod/tc of the videogame "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" in a first person shooter enviroment, using the GZDoom plataform, still needs a lot of work in textures/some gameplay mechanics , but I'll be updating somewhat frequently and you can become a Patreon as well for some w.i.p. content ^^

Amazing man, I think my only concern at this point is the player speed, will it be slowed to match the original because I feel it's really easy to fly through the map and win in a minute.

The thing with the speed is that in the original game there was "theatrical pauses" like getting on a trampoline , getting off a trampoline , getting on water , getting of water, etc.

This pauses can't be implemented in the mod without forcing the player to stop everytime he/she wants to use something like that , and by forcing the player to wait everytime for this pauses it's going to become really annoying because the game would loss fluidity.

I recorded my time based in the sega version and it took me something like 25 seconds without this pauses (being 33 with them).
While in the mod it takes me something like 20 to 23 seconds to do the same travel.

So there is something like a 2 to 5 seconds of difference after all.

(Of course other factors apply as well like the point of view by example)
