It's been like a million years (or two months, but who's counting?) since we last posted an update on here. So this is an update. We're working on having a damn-near-finished, fully functioning build of the amount of the game we're planning on putting out in our first release (which will come at the end of April) by April 1st so everyone is scrambling to put all the little pieces together to make a game and not a mildly related mess of unfinished art and scripting...

It's been like a million years (or two months, but who's counting?) since we last posted an update on here. So this is an update. We're working on having a damn-near-finished, fully functioning build of the amount of the game we're planning on putting out in our first release (which will come at the end of April) by April 1st so everyone is scrambling to put all the little pieces together to make a game and not a mildly related mess of unfinished art and scripting. So, at the moment, everything is still pretty much a mildly related mess of unfinished art and scripting and there's not a huge amount of stuff for me to post in terms of in-game shots of maps or game play. But those will be coming before too long.

On that note, before I bust out the media, the chunk of the Zombie Zoo master plan you'll be getting at the end of April (what will basically be Zombie Zoo: Episode 1 or whatever) will be the tutorial/introduction to the game that involves a stroll through the parking lot, lobby, gift shop and central hub of the zoo along with the first level where you're forced to resolve a violent conflict between the docile zombie bears of Bear City and the hyper-intelligent, fascist undead rabbits of Bunny Town.

Okay, media time. We've got concept art for the intern at the zoo who you play in the game, the evil scientist who created the zombie animals in the first place and may or may not be behind the zoo's descent into chaos along with a bunch of posters that will be up in various parts of the zoo and the designs for these little zombie mascots that will hang out outside the entrances to each section of the zoo and the zoo's restaurant, The Grumbling Zombie. And finally, a screenshot of a zombie grizzly bear who lives in Bear City.

Last but not least, here is the (still work in progress) introduction animation to the game. It's missing a few shots and the sound and editing still need some TLC but it's getting close to being done. It features the song "Honky Tonk of Wermland" by awesome Swedish band Detektivbyrån from their album Wermland (www.detektivbyran.net). Used with permission.

Always glad to see updates from this mod. For some reason I was reminded of a old game ( Day of the Tentacle ) .. not fully sure why.
