Description
The Westmoreland Urban Warfare AIFV is a versatile, well-armoured MBT-equivalent unit that can deploy a variety of weapons depending on the soldier inside it.
hmm...what kind of weapon use this tank ?
It's not a tank, it's an Urban Warfare Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicle :P But yeah, it basically serves as Alexander's MBT. Check the news update for further info.
does this AIFV transport infantry like Bradley? or it is more like a modular vehicle, like shocwave exosuit?
And when i say shockwave i'm not comparing the mod , only want to have a idea :)
It's a modular vehicle, like ShW's Exo Suit, but really both the Exo Suit and the Westmoreland use code adapted from the GLA Combat Cycle.
It only carries one infantryman, and its weapons can be compared to those of the infantryman inside it, only more so. Marine riflemen with M16s get access to machine guns, SAW Gunners get miniguns, SMAW Defenders get anti-tank missile racks, and so on. It's an infantry fighting vehicle not in the sense of the Bradley, but more in the sense of the BRDM-2, supporting the infantry by providing mobile vehicle fire support instead of providing mobile vehicle fire support AND transporting them to the front.
