Oi! I'm going to level with you guys. I can convert models faster than I can make a mod. But when I put some flat converted models on ModDB, they get stuck in un-autheded limbo.
So, I have many models to give, and plenty of modders wanting them. that's problem one.
Problem 2 is a mini mod. I have a small Empire mod in the works to show off the empire build up and air force. Yet every time I look, there seems to be another model I can add. And I know you all like mini mods that turn huge. (Not a dib at paradox, I work with them)
Problem three is a planning one. I have TOO MANY MODELS! I do not know what to do with them all! If someone who knows how to balance RA3, Post here or Pm me with idea's as I am not good with balance.
To sum up, I am modding RA3 again, I am still modding Hawx, and I I can't hold all these models.

What would truly be ideal is a community effort to correctly extract (and convert to max[7/9] files with correct shaders and textures applied) and organize all the various standard models from the latest CnC games for modding use. I've wanted to start something like that, but I work 12-14 hours a day, I just don't have time.
I am a member of PPM, yet they are not a big fan of the post generals games. I can post converts there, if I know people will get them there.
Pardon me, but I don't see how "too many models" is a problem. One of the reasons I mod RA2 over anything past that (not even Generals) is the lack of any Public Models for free and open use at all. Having more models here at The War Factory (the one place that does free to use 3D Models) is a good thing for people X3
Yes, it is a good thing except for one fact. There is a bottleneck. I can only get models so fast, and ModDB works only so fast that I can't get the models to those who want them.
As the guy above me pointed out, maybe hosting on a site like PPM could be the solution. Otherwise, I don't think your under any serious time pressure to upload stuff.
Maybe some other file hosting site. There has to be some site just to dump files for download. Just give ppl the link.
