This mod aims to bring the extra-galactic race of Yuuzhan Vong into SW: FoC as a playable 4th faction. Original factions will receive new units to fight these invaders.
Starbase 1
Role: Space Station
Armament: 4 Light Yarek Kors; 4 Medium Yaret-Kors; 6 Dovin Basals
Shielding: Weak (delay 0,1 seconds)
Abilities: Regeneration (free, but slow healing of damaged HPs)
Complement: 3 Squadrons of Yorik-ets; 1 Squadron of Yorik Grutta
As a commander of Yuuzhan Vong forces you´re going to need a base to launch your attacks from and protect your territory...and here it stands - your space station. Created on a base of a large asteroid, it slowly grows, consumes surrounding asteroids and mutates, becoming a more lethal threat...
It begins as a simple large space rock, with just a few features showing the presence of extragalactic invaders, like Dovin Basals or large Villips for communication. Even the hangar is preciously hidden inside the asteroid. For its size, it´s actually weakly armed, so make sure to protect this seed of your future power. Or don´t let yourself be fooled by this cluster of asteroids and squash it fast, if you want to protect the galaxy!
Tomorrow, we will present you the next phase of the Vong starbase, which has already a shipyard for corvette sized ships. After all levels will be presented, you can await a video showcasing its animation and evolution.

Seeing the station, I think it might be a cool feature if low-level Vong stations were always hidden in GC since they're looking like asteroids and lose that once they reach a higher level because the Vongforming gets more obvious.
