I can't help but feel like science and the vacuum of space would be kinda annoyed at all those flames and explosions though... :P
I am sure it would be more ticked off at the engine and laser sounds first though....

Well there's oxygen inside the ship, so it burns as it escapes into the vacuum. That's the EU excuse anyways
