This mod has been so long in the making; I did wonder if we would ever see it! Whilst I am so glad that the mod is playable now, there does seem to be issues that plague the mod like the AI only building certain types of units, especially whilst playing against the Cartel.
This is a very good playable teaser. The model and texture quality is amazing as I have seen, I do feel that some of the models themselves could do with some refreshers, simply being that they are several years old at this point.
I really look forward to The Vong being added and the mechanics being fleshed out more.
A breakdown of my score following.
3 for the amazing quality of the visuals
2 for the space battle mechanics where all classes matter.
1 for having the choice and ability to build ships of different sub factions.
1 for for actually having a roadmap to the mod and for the devs sticking to their guns and delivering their vision.
-2 For the lack of ship classes and variety in this teaser (It is a teaser I know but this is a review for this build alone).
-1 For the AI issues that seem to spam a few squadrons of fighters and 2 ship classes exclusively.

Only a teaser release so far, but the attention to detail is amazing.
The mod is good but needs animated cannons and more ships for the skirmish and mod the land skirmish too

The mod is worth a try, the visuals are good even on an older laptop(Dell xps l702x). The game mechanics looks interesting. By teh way they were quite clear this is not the final version, i hope they will be able to reach their goals. In my opinion bugs are expected, and the team could be trusted to finish their project. Also if you are interested in modding i think it is definitly worth checking out their work. Cheers!
