Description
The Star Galleon was a common sight in the galaxy, used by nearly all factions due to its heavy armor and low maintenance. Armed with 4 medium dual turbos, 2 light laser turrets, 2 flank mounted 5-salvo concussion missile launchers and shielding, the Star Galleon proved to be very useful as and escort frigate to larger slower ships or a picket defense ship by many navies.

Wiki states that it has 10 turbolasers... but we needed to change that for our mod due to our different weapon types. The heavy armor protects the Galleon from most fighter lasers, but just in case a heavy fighter or bomber decides to pay a visit, the 2 dual light laser turrets were added for extra defense.

Agreed, the Galleon is an odd one. However, this rendition is one of the better ones in the EaW community, for sure.
To me it looks exactly like a turtle with the legs hidden under the shell and only the head sticking out. XD
But I agree, this model looks pretty good.
Either that or an Armadillo.
