The Sauroter was originally designed for homeworld support in repelling Ssi-Ruuvi Invasions of Chiss space. Bristling with torpedo and missile launchers, long range heavy turbos, triple barrel maser turrets and heavy ion turrets, while also featuring superior shielding and heavily reinforces armor, the Sauroter is nearly invincible.
About the length of Republic Mediator Class battlecruiser, the Sauroter is a slow moving heavy artillery platform. Excelling at long range bombardment, the dreadnought led invasion forces from the rear, bombarding enemy capital ships while relying on its 9 hanger bays to deploy enough coverage fighters for sweeping and protection.

That one reminds me on the Kilrathi's Bhantkara-class carrier from Wing Commander III.
Not a big fan of the verticality of this thing.. seems just a tad bit too cumbersome to build and operate... (just my opinion, don't hate D:)
It's similar in shape (I think) to the Kandosii Dreadnaught - that had a similar vertical aspect to it.
There is nothing in the rulebook to say that all dreadnaughts should be flat... we're just used to seeing Executors, that's all?! ;)

i loved it, for some reason it reminds me of some of those space anime battleships, i think its the sharpness and verticality as oposed to the smoothness and orizontality.
this looks amazing!! it kinda reminds me of the reliance 1 and a crucible class siege ship. this will be the best mod in the world!

I have seen build limits on some other named ships does this mean we will only be able to build one of these? Also will all factions be playable or just the New Republic/GA, Remnant, Hutts, and Vong?
I got that name! "sauroter" means lizard killer in ancient greek it was the name of the rear point of the hoplites lance!
