Behold the Yuuzhan Vong Army! This mod adds the Yuuzhan Vong Race as a playable faction and all units of this era. We are a community of modders working for the greater goal, so anyone who wants to help or support us is welcome!
So, as we approach our final push towards release, we are starting the big task of re-exporting every model with the new PBR shader. We have received many questions about what this actually does? How does this make things different? and why is this so important?
The PBR shader makes shadows more dynamic without the need of having to make map lighting settings dardker. It makes light reflections on ships more realistic by adding microsurface detail. It enhances color by delivering a more realistic natural light effect. In short, it makes everything look much MORE AWESOME.
We will be showcasing a 'before and after' of all our ships to show the difference and make people aware of what ships will all be included in our first release.

Broadside Cruiser with PBR - same model and same texture, just without and with our PBR shader.
The Broadside Cruiser will be available when playing as the Imperial Remnant, it will be a slow moving heavily armored missile deployment platform yet still has light lasers and AA lasers for defense.
The Broadside Cruiser is also a minelayer. It will deploy space minefields.

Got to love how the missile tubes are recessed in that opening which frankly is a ludicrous negative space. Never understood why that is such a common element in SW design.
