Damn so much detail on a single fighter looks really good like REALLY good.
You've got to hand it too the Chiss, they don't just steal your technology, they make it better.
I do love the details but is this gonna end up like EAW-RE where everything looks so good the engine cant take it nd crashes ??

i always for it odd how the chiss used so many imperial designs as basis for some stuff. sure the TIEs where extremely nimble but on everything other then cost they failed terribly
Well ... The TIE LN (and later IN) was the fastest, most maneuverable ship for a long time. If you've read the X-Wing books, even elite-pilots like Wedge Antilles and Corran Horn feared a well trained TIE squadron.
And the modular build groups of the TIE allow for easy, fast and cost efficient maintenance.
Not to speak of the psychological effect of a TIE screaming over your head. Only weakness being the lack of shields. Which got later on fixed by introducing the TIE Advanced x2. According to Wedge the most advanced fighter he's ever flown.
And the Chiss ... they creaded a ship which is one of a kind. They took over the good parts of the Imperial design and improved it to a point where it was pure perfection.
4 strong lasers, hyperdrive, shields, armored wings
first off the screaming yeah that whould grate on my nerves. it really carries well in the void also to yeah. it can dodge lasers pretty well also. the one shot to kill it is what made it so weak i feel.
