We are starting creation of our new Nebulae textures. For a while I have shared my nebulae with many mods, giving them Neb_Collection_1 and Neb_Collection_2, but finally I am returning to these, to finish the long awaited and rumored Neb_Collection_3...
Always loved your nebula textures. Looks familiar though, did you use some the new photographs from NASA as a basis?

Learned new techniques to work with transparency and brightness in the game to give a richer background. There are a few in production, they allow us to have some nice bright looking maps with vivid scenery.
It's hard to capture a shot of the entire nebula unless zoomed out very far with the view, but as I get them finished and we do more testing, they will be making appearances throughout our screenshots
Glad to hear it, they look stunning. Then again I am a sucker for gorgeous pictures of space anyway.

I have to say. The textures show a lot better in the engine than I thought. Not to say anything bad of the quality, Looks great!
Ever wonder if Kuat engineers outsourced to Orks?
The amount of Dakka on that ship is... concerning.
