HIQC : Heavy Ion Quad Cannon
The second strongest Ion Cannon in the mod, the HIQC is an enlarged version of the Medium Ion Dual Cannon, featuring 4 supercharged Medium Ions that fire a combined salvo almost as powerful as the single barrel Heavy Ion Cannon.
While the Heavy Ion Cannon is favored more by New Republic designs, the HIQC is preferred by Imperials due to its slightly faster fire rate. The HIQC can be found on the largest of capital ships due to its immense power drain, such as Star Destroyers.
Vote for us in the Mod of the Year Award, we have some special surprises we are trying to get ready before New Year's.....
I hope "Special Surprises" includes the Star Destroyers.

How will Ion Cannons affect the Vong vermin in space. being organic creatures, will vong vessels even take damage from Ion weapons?!?
