The tank is a little bit smaller than the T2-B for comparison.

I am glad to see that land units are recieving the same amount of awesomeness as space units, as i find the land battles to be quite enjoyable and so many mods put so much emphasis on space combat and neglect land, btw awesome tank.

Everything in our mod is OP so at the same time it's balanced.

If everything has a high DPS then it doesn't matter what you build, aslong as it is in larger quanitities, that is not balanced at all.

If it was as easy as switching to incendiary rounds, why didn't the republic do so? at first it might have been because at the beginning of the war they had an enormous fleet that would have been very difficult to retrofit to use projectile weapons, but by the mid and late stages pretty much every ship was more or less new.

Nearly all New Republic weapons were energy based. Switching to incendiary round would be a complete design of each weapon. The Hutts used incendiary weapons because energy weapon technology was still safely guarded by the Galactic Council.

Not everyone should have the knowledge to build a death star ;)

I figure it wouldn't be too hard for the Hutts to figure out energy weapons (do recall that they hired many mercenearies who used energy weapons.), or the republic to figure out projectiles. When the survival of the galaxy is at stake scientists tend to pump out weapons pretty quick. But retrofitting the entire fleet would have been next to impossible, primarily because they were all busy fighting the Vong, but also because none of them were designed with ordnance storage in mind.

So some units are going to be able to deploy minefields or it's like a prop or some sort of hostile environment on maps?

Sorry if it has been explained somewhere I'm not a fan of ground combat and I usually don't even click on pictures of ground vehicles. This one however kinda intrigued me. ;)

We have plans for examining minefields. The T2B tank render i made a while ago was where we first considered the idea. Some units will be given a special ability to deploy a minefield cluster or a proximity mine. The mines will be stealth and only detectable bt certain units. Other, different units will be required to destroy then mines.

Description

Abaddon Tank

During the height of the Vong War, the Hutt's lower grade weapon systems proved to be an advantage against the Vong, since laser and ion weaponry were less effective against yorik coral compared to combustible weapons. Enter the Abaddon.

Heavily armored and rather quick moving, the Abaddon was a flame tank that excelled in siege operations. It was armed with an armor piercing cannon turret and two forward mounted swivel flame throwers. For added fun the designers added a crush roller to the front for breaking through enemy obstacles and fortifications and crushing infantry. For defense, the Abaddon featured a rear mounted twin laser cannon that could provide anti-aircraft fire as well as cover fire for the rear troop doors. The Abaddon also served as a troop carrier and was capable of transporting 2 squads of soldiers into battle.

Weak vs NR tanks, strong vs Vong. Weak vs Vong aircraft, moderate vs NR aircraft.

Special Feature: the roller allows for destruction of mine fields.
