The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

The biggest change is the GDI Sonic Gears equipment. Instead of a sonic cannon and a grenade launcher it's equipped with a Heavy Missile Launcher equipped with a large blast payload and an artillery barrage style rocket system equipped with a sonic warhead payload. After reviewing the idea of the Gears it was obvious that the Sonic Gear was out of place. I mean Sonic Weapon Technology is obviously an effective tool against biological targets making a great suppression weapon when dealing with rioters for example. But what would a Sonic Weapons effect be in space? I don't see it being very effective at all so we've switched over to Missiles and Rockets.
