The Xenoforce Reborn mod takes the classic Xenoforce mod from CNC Generals and re-invisions it on the CNC3 engine with new units and new designs. The new armies that are currently scheduled to be in the mod are the Earth Federation, ZEON, the Invid, and the Earth Robotech Defense Force. We also have heavily modified the original CNC3 armies, giving the GDI, NOD, and Scrin a much more dynamic gameplay experience. This mod is NOT FOR PROFIT and NON-commercial based.

Sector 9 Security is the new name for the Sisterhood. They are robotic bodies with cybernetic brains installed, making them quite literally assembly line soldiers. (hence why they all look the same)

Am I to assume that the name doesn't fit? Or is it that you guys just don't like the idea of the Cyborg inside the squad of infantry?

We're to assume someone's been watching too much Ghost In The Shell, and tried assimilating the idea onto Nod.

First off I would say that you have been watch to much “recycled” transformers and if you are going to have an avatar of shockwave then take your *** back to the original. So with that being said let me put it to you like this. If you know the evolution of cnc then you know that nod deal in cybernetics. By the time of the firestorm crisis you have the commando, reaper and light infantry unit. See the fact that we are working with units pre set in game but not going with the cnc 3 story we simply went with the cyber puck concepts that could carry nod the furthest on the battlefield without walking away from who not was originally intended to be.
As for concept material I would say ask before you assume anything. Ryan chose that name so that you could call it something you would understand. Although I hate the name you proved why it would make scents to call it that. As for ghost in the shell it does nothing for use in the real way of nod as of yet. I honestly would have to say that shows such as m66, 8 man, bubblegum crisis, armatage the third, blood trendy along with ghost in the shell would be a more honest representation of the ideas we looked to pull from. Ryan know I hate ghost in the shell and we have worked to damn hard in concept and creation to allow anyone to gloss over nod like that.

Sort of what Doug said. He is right, I choose that name so that people who are looking at it could understand where we pulled some of the ideas for that aspect from. Nod was developing in this direction anyways just from Westwoods stories, we have just gone and taken it to the next expected level while trying to make it as obvious to the players what changes actually have happened. If I called them the "Oversight Committee" you wouldn't have any idea what they stood for or what to expect. "Sector 9" tells you "Oh, they're cyborg elite troops. They use stealth and can hack things." That was the point anyways.

Here is a pic of the Sector 9 Agents with the Cyborg. Sector 9 focus's on all aspects of fringe, experimental, and many consider immoral technologies that Nod has access to.
