Xbox 360 UI Mod v2.5 for HL2: Lost Coast. HOTFIX FOR LATEST UPDATE.
How to install the mod:
1 - Install Fonts from the first folder ("1 - INSTALL THIS") into your Windows.
Double-click on them and select "Install" button.
2 - Install base of the mod from the second folder ("2 - BASE") into your game's root folder.
...\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\
3 - Install the rest of the mod specifically for your desired resolution ("3 - RESOLUTIONS") into your game's root folder.
This step is almost the same as the previous one.
4 - Put the following into your game's launch options in Steam:
If 480p:
-w 640 -h 480 -fullscreen
If 720p:
-w 1280 -h 720 -fullscreen
If 1080p:
-w 1920 -h 1080 -fullscreen
How to uninstall the mod:
1 - Delete the "custom" folder from "...\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2\lostcoast".
2 - Verify the game files in Steam.
3 - Install the original font files (You can download them from X360UI Mod ModDB page).
4 - Reset the keyboard settings in the game's options to defaults.
5 - Open the console and write put the following commands in it:
hud_fastswitch 1
hud_draw_fixed_reticle 0
Can't get the Lost Coast version to work. The menus appear to be there by most of my buttons don't do anything and Right thumbstick moves the mouse cursor around on the screen. :S
Never mind, I figured it out.
For those who are having the same problem I was, you need to go into Steam Big Picture Mode and in the Controller settings set it to "Forced Off". Steam doesn't know there's a controller mod running within the game and thinks you want its "Steam Controller" mapping system instead and the two conflict.
