Regarding the poll, personally i find this new helmet a bit plain, the glowing red eyes and almost star wars stromtrooper-esque breathers along the sides of the other helmet seemed more fitting to me.
There is some maximus armor floating around in general Loyalist reliquaries, but most was turned into mk. 5 or belongs to Traitor Legionnaires. During the heresy, Horus had been intentionally outfitting Traitor legions ahead of loyalists as prep for the heresy, so loyal legions were mostly rocking mk. 2 and mk. 3 for normal marines unless they were lucky. As an example, ultramarines had a bunch before the heresy, and they are one of the few legions who can still produce it(I think, I know the Iron Hands can though). I cannot find a single example or sub-type of catiphractii that uses a mk. 3 helm. Its custom helms(each legion had its own unique catiphractii pattern) or modified mk. 4 helms.
A thinner mk 3 helm or that grill-less crusader helm model? (retributions ultramarine dlc features the captain using this helm, ignoring the gilding and silly roman plume thing) Maximus helms are used for Tartaros Armour and while it seems that you can use other helmet marks(I found a catiphractii ultramarine with a mk 5 helm), if none my other proposed options look decent then MK. 3 would work best if only because it shares a similar texture style.
Yeah, despite being the great crusade version of terminator armor the helms look pretty similar to the crusader versions of maximus armor. Though everything below the nose is obscured by the neck-guard.
The Mk III helmet matches the aesthetic of Cataphractarii really well
Soon we will have a crusade, FOR THE EMPEROR!

ABSOLUTELY keep the MK-III Helmet for that.
It's definitely the better one for Cataphractii Armor, since it's basically Legiones Astartes era.
The choice is between Mk III Iron or MK IV Maximus, those two are the closest I have.

I do not have a model for the real catapractii helmet.
So I'm asking if the mark III or the mark IV are closer to it? Which one to use, the Mark III seems more popular.

I only got the standard Crusade Mark 2, Iron Mark 3, Maximus mark 4. I don't have any of the variants.
Maximus is Legion armor. Its pre-heresy.

The Mk. III fits the Cataprachtii really well, I think!
