Right after the events of Half Life 2, at the Citadel's explosion GMan teleports Freeman out before the Vortigaunts could take him. GMan teleports Gordon to a random location in City 17, from where he has to escape the city before the Citadel's core explodes, and destroys the city at once.
This mod is in it's early stages, but will be released soon.
