World in War: Vietnam is an ambitious mod project that brings the Vietnam War to Men of War. You will follow the stories of 6 American infantrymen, from State-side bootcamp to the horrors of jungle warfare during the Tet Offensive.

These are the fellows you will be controlling during the USA campaign, more information on these guys will follow, here you can see them entering a swamp area.

OH....perfect! Each character seems to have his own personality.
Will they all have M16s or some each one have a speciality?
IF there are, arm one of the "heroes" with an M79 "Bloop gun" and it'll be all over for the cong.
I'd go for a good old RPG anyday. Or M60.
..napalm :D yes.. i expect a guy running around carrying napalm as a weapon (somehow) ^^
Well you can pick up a M2 Browning in MoW, who knows.
Id arm a few with M1 Garands... some with M16s and BARs and other weapons that were used in vietnam too :) Maybe even some Lee Enfields for those fellow Australians that fought in Vietnam with the Americans

My what a lovely surprise! The bloop gun is probably behind the backs of one of the soldiers. I can't see where the machinegunner is. Maybe he's the tail-end charlie.
I hope to see some Navy Seals units, Force Recon, LRRPs and MACVSOG soon. Their China Lake grenade launcher, automatic shotgun, HK33, Stoner LMG and other small arms.
Geesh! I forgot to mention the Green Berets too.

been looking through all the pics. beautiful.....just beautiful. is this really men of war!?! don't even look like it any more. in this pic- always hated these intense moments in movies where the unit\squad is just merely trotting through dense forested areas, and your screaming in your head "your gonna get ambushed you ****** morons!" lol. best thing to do in that situation is grab some cover and send recon in to scout. eventually someone will make a mistake, why should it be you?
that's why vietnam was also a hard and bloody lesson learnt by the americans in infantry tactics for jungle warfare.
are these marines or army?
