Report RSS Some news and explanation on the drop in the percentage completed

A drop in levels completed, but nothing is really lost.

Some news on the Mod, nothing very important but it's a matter of keeping you informed. As explained in a previous post, I focus more on the basics before getting to the design with the objects in the maps. And by continuing to work on the other levels, I realize that I will have to revisit everything for the design on the first ones, which lowers the completed rate, but in fact, it is to better harmonize all the levels. . But nothing is lost, because it allows me to test some concept.

The textures will also be reviewed, as will the lighting, in part. Again, to ensure a smooth continuation between levels.

I'm also planning how I'm going to distribute the Mod, but it won't be until at least the end of the year (sorry, but I'm alone on it) for an acceptable product. As I do not want to do just a port but a revisit of the game, I have to bring a result that is up to the game and enjoyable.

And I want to clarify that this mod is not the continuation of another, there are several other versions under the Source engine, but I only work with my creations from zero, and of course the objects listed in the list of credits. The game DLL is also modified by me (and I should probably revisit it, too), and this from the Valve Wiki documentation.

Depending on the progress, nothing prevents you from perhaps releasing a short version, just to get your impression. With that, summer is coming, I wish you a good vacation and a good time.
