Blade of Agony is a story-driven FPS. The project is inspired by WWII shooters from the 90's and early 2000's, like Wolfenstein 3D, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty, but with faster-paced gameplay in the spirit of Doom! The game can be played standalone using the GZDoom engine as a base. "This is basically one of the best DOOM mods I've come across." - John Romero

I love it, and we need more games like this. Much hard work has been put into this and can't wait tell all done.

This is a fine example of Doom modding power. There is a big variety between gameplay. Some missions are search and destroy a german lab, while others require you to platform in an Aztek temple. Moments later you'll be sneaking around killing nazis with stealth.

Just when the sneaking gets boring, the game treats you on an awesome weapon and a target rich enviroment. All you need to do is literally let go and wreck the place. In short this game has good pacing.

Enviroments a re beautifully crafted, good looking textures, atmopheric lighting and intriguing level design.

Side objectives are really nice and are recommended to get the most out your playtrough.

It's hard to describe, but just play it even if you only mildly enjoy fps games.

Only porblem I have with the game is the performance, 90% of the time it runs well. But some maps eat away the frames. It's a shame that the people I recommend it to have a hard time running the game.

Absolutely AAA+ top shelf flawless mod. Does things in the gzdoom engine I have never even seen before. This is something I would easily pay for. Unbelievable work by one of the most talented mod teams. If you love doom, duke, wolfenstein, or basically any game of this ilk, you must play this mod!

Where cool game!

This is by far the best mod that I have ever ever played! Thanks kindly for creating this, and for the performance improvements in v3.1. I actually do not care much about the censoring, it sounds reasonable what you did here and it's not very important what has been changed. The game is still fun and entertaining, so I don't get what people are annoyed about.

I mean, this is a free game from developers who did this in their free private time? People "demanding" changes are simply not getting how things are working here. Did anyone pay for the mod? How can you think of being in a position to demand changing anything?

Very nice improvements overall to the game and revives the distinct game play style for a modern format.

Smart game design, on the level AAA games.
Good level design with nice lighting, many interactive objects and interesting secrets.
A lot of good nostalgia (not just for Wolf3D).

This feels and plays like a "true Wolfenstein sequel that never got released".

Шикарная игра. Много отсылок к фильмам, играм... Побольше бы таких игр. Очень понравилось.

Amazing experience, great use of the DOOM engine port to deliver a new experience, also amazing graphical qualities too

All a Wolfenstein fan could wish for. Perfect Game 10 out of 10 in my book.
