This is a project aims to bring the good ol' fashioned gameplay of wolf3d to the Source Engine- with added multiplayer.

Past couple of week's I've been a bit busy with school starting up, however I have managed to work on this mod some. So far, the map making program creates the basic layout of the levels including sliding doors and npc's. Currently I'm working on adding code that will add objects like tables and lamp. The first NPC model has been completed. Also, I've converted the DOD:S p38 to be the starting pistol. The p38 has slight auto aim to the p38 to offset how wolf3d doesn't have crosshairs.

I need a modeler to create models for each of these models:
chandelier, floor lamp, blue vase w/ brown plant, gold vase w/ green plant, blue vase, well, wooden barrel, suit of armor, flag, and plate of food.

I've been talking with my friend about making a Wolf3D recently. We planned to re-create the levels, rather than have the cartoon-ish kind of look (such as having the odd broken light for effect).

Looking at it, I figure it would be easy enough to take items and NPC code from HL2, and simply recreate the model and sound. For example; the Metrocop draws his weapon, just as the basic Wolf3D guard. All you would need is to recreate the model and skin, and use the same NPC class!

While we haven't had too much experience with this stuff, I've found it easy to code weapons and the like, while my friend has done some work with models and maps. Maps would be simple, as would NPCs, skins etc. The only trouble we might have is resposnes such as investigating a noise and maybe even patrol patterns....

So please let us know where this is at Mr. Creator :)

As it turns out patrol patterns were an oversight! Silly me!

Yeah, you and me both. I'm a huge fan of the old Wolfenstein 3D games, I would love to see them make it to source.

I'm going to guess the pistol will be the p38, the SMG will be the MP40, the pulse rifle will be the chaingun, and the crowbar is the knife?

Maybe the magnum will be the offcer's pistol, it's supposed to do more damage than the guard's.
