But the unit textures are bad, the UI isn't polished, just like the rest of the mod.

I'm amending my initial review now that I've discovered where the files for this mod can be located. They can be found by clicking on addons, which is located below the title of the mod on the header image.
I shall be happy to give the mod a try now and review it at a later date.
