Winter Mod 3.0 (Updated 2022 version) for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Winter Mod for GTA: Vice City invites you into the winter fantasy: Vice City, Florida State, was suddenly covered with snow. A huge layer of snow covered roads and lawns, roofs of houses and shops, even trees are in the snow now... Passers have to dress warmly. Car drivers must be careful: vehicles slide on the fresh snow surface. You hear noise of blizzard, snow falls huge flakes, and it becomes clear: this is a real winter! Winter Mod, from version 3.0 made from scratch, with an unprecedented approach to quality. The main feature — it is, of course, snow. Snow covered all the roads and sidewalks; all the buildings are covered with snow, even vehicles and plants. To achieve this it was necessary to process a huge amount of textures. In version 3.0, developed in one time with HRT 1.4, these textures are made in new capacity and highest resolution.

Winter weather: long evenings and nights, gloomy sky, snow is falling... Changed atmosphere sounds: you can hear sounds of snowstorm, blizzard, wind howling.

For all vehicles using simulation of winter roads.

Mod contains a lot of technical innovations, included really unique for GTA: Vice City: game looks really cool with using of high quality materials and a powerful combination of two graphics libraries.

New graphical features were added: bloom, real-time reflections, motion blur, anisotropic filtration, anti-aliasing (SMAA), vignette, color correction, sharpness filter. Also: high resolution fonts and menu, map and radar, weapons icons etc. Widescreen displays and Windows 10/11 are fully supported.

With new particle effects (water, sky, fire, shadows, car headlights) game looks as good, as never before.

All pedestrians clothed into more worm clothes. Tommy is also not left without new things in the locker room: and in the game (new skins), and in cutscenes he can be dressed into new clothes.

Tommy now can walk, not only run as earlier.

You can enable new Freeride Mode: with this option you can play the game without missions and storyline, only free discovering the city.

New radio station with songs dedicated for Christmas and New Year (and yet another station you can install from Bonus folder).

This mod is unique in that sense, that this is the first mod with powerful combination of few graphics libraries which improve graphics. With exclusive menu you can configure each option of the mod and change different settings and optimize mod for your computer. And all these — not all changes that were made for the mod.

This is first cross-platform mod for GTA, because it is released not only for PC (main version) but also (as experimental version) for Android* (* this version is released in 2013 and does not supported anymore).
