From the depths a light shall rise, a star of hope for all the World. As a darkness gathers, it shall stand mighty as the blade, and be the shield that shelters as well as the spear that drives to the heart of evil. Yet, as this light will shine, darkness will slither like a tendril of hate, like a fatal disease, and the star will be its slave. Alas, this is the fate of all things, yet most beautiful cruelty is in the fall of Numenor. This mod will bring you back to the Second Age, before the War of the Ring, when the Dark Lord Sauron sought to corrupt and destroy the hearts of Men which lay bound to the fate of Westernesse and both scatter the loyal Dunedain as well as bending to his will those with weaker hearts or demeanour. With an all-new campaign, two new factions, a specialised purpose-built Living Map for use in the War of the Ring mode, plus new maps to battle over, this truly expansive mod will reinvigorate your Battle for Middle-earth experience like never before!
if we are able to play with a morgoth like that then i'll die of a hart attack
There will be an in-game 25-pt summon, but this version is the statue in Armenelos after the uttermost fall of Ar-Pharazon.
It doesn't look remotely like Morgoth
Morgoth's appearance is entirely down to perception, as Tolkien never drew him nor described his 'dark' form.
Actually, Morgoth is an Ainur: the first and the mightiest beings. Melkor, or commonly known as Morgoth, isn't a beast or a ridiculous looking creature, he probably look more like a normal yet tall and powerful human. You can see him here: Lotr.wikia.com
your right it's better so ****-OFF ! t('.'t) @Guest
Bit extreme, I don't mind a little criticism for a Tolkien purist, but I'll just let him know this is not a purist mod. It's not entirely canonical, nor is that my aim.
I aim to make a mod people will enjoy playing, not one bound by certain aspects.
Truth, tho I have to point out, that this form of morgoth would have slight difficulty sitting on his dark throne, given the tail :-) Personally I imagine Morgoth to be slightly more human-like as it fits better with hos character, and the way Tolkien is refering to him. But I guess that is as good morgoth as any.
May I just say that people have been arguing this point since I first announced this was my vision of Morgoth, prior even to Westernesse's inception. The fact that it has changed only slightly since then should make the point clear that I like Him like this.
HIM?
He reminds me of the Balrogs, I guess that makes sense since he is their master. Good work, and it's nice to see some independent thinking in the design of your mod.
Thank God someone gets that!
he doesn't look like morgoth .morgoth is one of the valar and this one look like a balrog .
I'm just gonna say this once. Look up at the previous comments.
I don't care whether his outlook fits the lore. He looks extremely awesome, that's good enough for me.
This is Morgoth When he gets ANGRY!
