From the depths a light shall rise, a star of hope for all the World. As a darkness gathers, it shall stand mighty as the blade, and be the shield that shelters as well as the spear that drives to the heart of evil. Yet, as this light will shine, darkness will slither like a tendril of hate, like a fatal disease, and the star will be its slave. Alas, this is the fate of all things, yet most beautiful cruelty is in the fall of Numenor. This mod will bring you back to the Second Age, before the War of the Ring, when the Dark Lord Sauron sought to corrupt and destroy the hearts of Men which lay bound to the fate of Westernesse and both scatter the loyal Dunedain as well as bending to his will those with weaker hearts or demeanour. With an all-new campaign, two new factions, a specialised purpose-built Living Map for use in the War of the Ring mode, plus new maps to battle over, this truly expansive mod will reinvigorate your Battle for Middle-earth experience like never before!

There's something I'd like to say about this before you all get started on criticisms. This is a mod I love developing, and when you have useful criticisms or suggestions I take them into account if they are feasible. However, there is a significant number of people saying 'this isn't Morgoth', or such. Just because it's not what you expect doesn't make it wrong. Aside from the fact that Tolkien never drew or described Morgoth in his dark form, I did say at the start of this mod, it was never intended to adhere to the strictest lore. Whilst I do consider myself well-versed in Tolkien's work, as many as you here are clearly, I am sick and tired of making mods that follow the lore at the expense of entertainment. I wanted since the start to make something beyond that which other modders have ever made, but in that same way it needn't apply the rules which other modders have used.

What I'm trying to say is this: this is MY Morgoth, the one I envisioned, and he will be in the game. If you don't like it, suggest something that makes him more appealing to you. Otherwise, if you're still not happy, try making your own mod.

you could make a beast form (such in the image), and a human form so you can change shape during battle

Well, in my opinion he doesn´t look much like a Dark Lord (perhaps more armour could help a bit). I wont say anything about his form as he is a Vala and he can have the form he wants. Could you please upload a pic on how he would look ingame?
If you don't mind, I think this is an explanation I would use to say why he looks like that. He decided to fight in that way because he was bored of being sit in his throne, and he wanted to kill his enemies by himself so he dressed like a beast (to hide the fact that he is Melkor) to look like a Dark Lord's servant and not the Dark Lord himself. So it would look as if Melkor had released another abomination to fight againts the free peoples of Middle Earth. But I think it would be a good idea if he could also change to his Dark Lord form.
Another thing, as he is the Dark Lord, how about using the stile of skills that The Edain Team used with Sauron when he has the Ring.
Just a doubt that I'm having, if your mod is set in the Second Age in the times of Numenor, wasn't Morgoth already imprisioned by the Valar after the fall of Beleriand??

Yeah, by this time he didn't really have much of a throne to sit on, having been, as you say, deposed into the Void.
As such, he's more insanely angered and pretty much blindly destructive to worry about how he looks, so when you use the 25-point power to drag him out of the Void into the world for a limited time, he simply is evil and decay embodied, existing simply for the distribution of death.
To that end, he won't be doing any shape-changing, as it's rather uncharacteristic of him, and he shed his ability to change forms after the destruction of the Two Trees, if my memory serves me correctly.

AMEN TO THAT!!!! I think people sometimes get so carried away with wanting to be know-it-all online lore heroes that they actually forget they're being over zealous about a fictional work that doesn't have pictures.

A quick note to those over zealous lore "heroes": this is the age of technology. In the space of 15 minutes, everyone can become an expert on everything. I can bet 9/10 people who say "this doesn't look like Morgoth" haven't read the Silmarillion, but are absolute aces at Google.

This mod is going to be beyond awesome, my excitement is making everything in my house smell like ****. Hail Irene for taking the time to model and skin this beastly vision of the fallen one!

Speaking of getting carried away ;)

Wait... "...excitement is making everything in my house smell like ****" I'm not entirely sure if I'm dirty-minded or right at this point.

Couldn't have said it any better. Keep up the work, I think you have the talent to give some of the more popular mods a run for their money!

I think sth is wrong with his "face". It's difficult to say what it is. What do you think about making his head bigger (I mean head/neck relation) and without (or with different ) chin horns? I think that his statue looks more (scary, frightening, terrifying, more angry and evil etc.) do you? OR maybe it's matter of colors? Maybe darker? ( Spreading shadows around ? )

it look good, but it can be better if it has two forms. the shape of the beast (this one) and the form of the Dark Lord with 3 silmarillions (size of a balrog)

If you don't like it, because it doesn't look human, I came up with an explanation that some of you might like:

This is the true nature of his soul, his essence. He has become the soul of all thinks evil, the source. His humane side died, while he was rotting in the void. So now, when he returnes, he is the embodiment evil, the most purest form of darkness in the world.

correct me, if I'm saying that doesn't fit within the lore (I haven't read similarion).

I suppose in a nutshell that's a good approximation of him. A little overdone maybe, but you get the idea.
