INTRODUCTION -----------------------------------------------
Q4 WOD is based on the WOD mod, also known as WEAPONS, for
Quake 2. For those not familiar with the Q2 mod, WOD was
the original "excessive" mod ever made. Though it isn't an
excessive mod. Unlike current excessive mods out there for
various game, WOD still keeps things balanced and the action
serious enough for competition.
There are still a lot of features that have no be included
yet that were in the original Q2 version, but we've only
been working on the Q4 version for about a month.

INSTALLATION -----------------------------------------------
Create a folder under your Q44 directory nameed "weapons"
and extract contents into the weapons folder. Make sure
that you do not put the weapons folder under you baseq4.
C:ID SOFTWAREQUAKE 4WEAPONS
To run the mod you can either load it from your in-game mod
menu or create a shortcut to the q4 exe and add:
+set fs_game weapons
Some people have stated that they can no longer use the
console after installing the mod, so optionally you can add:
+set com_allowConsole 1 +set fs_game weapons
If you don't like the new hud, delete the pak003.pk4

THE MOD ----------------------------------------------------
WOD is both a Single-Player & Multiplayer mod. There are
differences in some of the weapons between the SP & MP game.
WEAPONS (Currently)
o BLASTER
Primary Fire - Now shoots the alternate charged projectile
and causes 30 Damage & 20 Splash Damage. Rate of fire is
now 4 seconds.
Charged Fire - Damage as been removed and the knockback
has been increased. Basically uses this in the same
manner as "rocket jumping" only without the pain.
To use the charged fire, just hold down the fire button
until the gun lights up.
o MACHINEGUN / SNIPER RIFLE
Primary Fire - Shoots slightly slower and has slightly
more damage.
Zoomed Fire - While in zoom mode, the MG will shoot a
larger projectile that has the Hit Damage of 300. It will
only shoot once every 3 seconds though. If you do manage
to shoot someone with it - they'll know!
o SHOTGUN / SUPER SHOTTY
Primary Fire - Still the same, but if you shoot someone
at close range, they will loose their hearing.
Zoomed Fire - This mode sports a larger shot spread with
a big increase in damage and knock back. Only catch is
a slow firerate.
o HYPERBLASTER
Primary Fire - Projectiles now move faster and will bounce
10 times before exploding.
o BAZOOKA (Grenade Launcher)
Primary Fire - The projectile will no longer bounce on
the ground. The GL will lob a grenade in an arc and
will explode on impact.
Zoomed Fire - The GL will launch a normal bouncing
grenade while zoomed. This grenade will also cause
hearing loss for those caught in the splash.
o CHAINGUN / STREET SWEEPER
Primary Fire - Shoots bullets and an extremely fast
rate.
Zoomed Fire - Is basically a fast rotating shotgun.
o ROCKET LAUNCHER
Primary Fire - Shoots stronger rockets at a higher speed.
Alt Fire - Fires faster, weaker rockets and a higher
rate of fire.
o RAILGUN
Primary Fire - Rail effects are smaller so they don't get
in the way and disappear faster. Damage has been increased
from 100 to 125
Zoom - Yep, still a zoom.
o LIGHTNING GUN
Primary Fire - By default the lightning will arc/chain off
the target and hit nearby players
(Same as the Lightning Chain Mod in SP)
o DMG
Nothing has been changed.
SINGLE-PLAYER
The only real difference in the SP side of the game is that
the Railgun is truely a 1-shot-1-kill weapons - does 1000 HP.
Also the sniper rifle's rate of fire is faster.
MULTIPLAYER
The Gauntlet has been removed and replaced with the blaster.
And the flashlights work...
MISC FEATURES
o WEAPON SWITCH TIME
The time it takes to switch weapons has been decreased
by 50%
o HUD
Using the MP Player hud from Q4 MAX
o BRIGHTSKINS
Using orange and green bright skins from Q4 MAX
o MAIN MENU BG
Now has a WOD Background
o MAX AMMO
The Max ammo has been increased for most weapons.
RL & GL - 100
HB & NG - 500
o INITIAL AMMO
The ammo you get with weapon pickups has been increased.
o SPAWN HEALTH
MP starting health now counts down from 150 instead of 125.

CHANGE LIST ------------------------------------------------

Decreased damage for hyperblaster. Removed guided rockets
and seeking nails. Replaced with speed rocket and street
sweeper. Removed "hearing loss" caused by shotty.
Removed WOD backgrownd due to some bugs, will include later.
Included Brightskins this time.
