Warhammer 40k: Red alert is an exciting Total Conversion for Red alert 2/Yuri's Revenge. All the sounds, graphics, and maps of the original Red alert 2/Yuri's Revenge are changed to the Warhammer 40k universe. The current playable sides are Imperial Guard, Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines. Each side is distinct and has unique units and superweapons. The Land Raider is based upon the near-mythical
Standard Template Construct (STC) technology, and
as such its design pre-dates the Imperium by many
thousands of years. Its rediscovery is commonly
attributed to the great Technomagus Arkhan Land,
and this mighty tank has itself acheived mythical
status through use by the Adeptus Astartes.
It is armed with a fearsome battery of four
"God-Hammer" pattern Lascannons, a pair
of twin-linked Heavy Bolters and a Stormbolter in
a pintle mount.
