This is a complete overhaul; the finished product will have much more in common with wc3 than sc2, however daunting it may seem this is possible and can happen, but not without commitment! Not without you! Join the team, post suggestions or just show us your enthusiasm! Continuation of the Warcraft RTS series lies but a click away!
Our apologies - once again - for the lack of updates!
We know you'll have seen some activity from the likes of Arketem, our terrainer. At last count we had ten melee maps under our belt, thanks to his continued efforts. If you haven't already be sure to check it all out!
In connection, Turminator8 (Or Master Wing(u)) has been hard at work developing a series of modpack files for Starcraft II, stuffed full of Warcraft/WoW doodad models. This saves us importing however many hundred models into every map we make.
He's been working extremely hard and put together a fair amount of these packs and it's very much become a project in its own right, and although not yet "complete", is now available for download.
So, if you're sick of waiting for WCAND you can now actually download these modpacks and start terraining your own Warcraft or Fantasy themed maps now!
Things to note:
As always, thank you ever so much for your continued support, we hope this release helps tide you over and inspires others to jump on the Fantasy -> Starcraft II bandwagon!
Until Next Time,
- Grey Nightmare

Warcraft: Armies of Azeroth
Please reales this it looks really good
It is with deep regret that I must inform you all that the current WCAND development team has shut up shop.
This means that while the project isn't dead or "officially" abandoned, no work is currently being done on it. The idea behind it was and still is that it was a community project, it wasn't our vision of Warcraft 4 in Starcraft II, it was yours (or everyone's).
We feel like we've done what we can, and would like to thank you all for the support you've given us thus far. If you're interested in taking over the project, assets and all - send us a message and we'll see if we can't get something sorted.
Remember you can still play the released alphas by searching for 'WCND' on BNet.
All the best,
how does the alpha signup thing work...we submit a profile and sign up..then what, we recieve the game in the mail.
The alphas are now public, just search for 'WCND' on Battle.net 2.0 - NA and EU servers.
you mean i need to run Starcraft 2 search for it in servers?
Hey GreyNightmare awesome job on your pre-alpha builds, of course there are obvious bugs and incomplete replacement buildings and building icons. has their been any progress since that build.
Glad you like it - but it seems as though the team has (regrettably) fallen into an extended hiatus. I have no more information than that at this time, sorry.
Are you going to give us a mod for the actual units and buildings?
Everything should be obtainable through SC2Mod files in order for you to make your own content with our mod as a base, yes.
