Warcraft 3: Tides of Darkness is a reinterpretation of the events and gameplay of Warcraft 2 on the superior Warcraft 3 engine. The horde and alliance will once again clash in an epic war for supremacy on Azeroth and Draenor. The gameplay will be extremely similar to that of Warcraft 2 but will also have new units and features to make it more interesting. The mod currently aims for Skirmish maps, but a campaign for both factions is also planned, but not certain.

Glad you're interested. Today I will release the first beta. It will have tier 1, 2 and 3 orcs/humans. There are a few missing units like submarines but for now it should be good. The only problem is that I'm not very good at mapping so the only map that is included isn't that great but it's meant to showcase the gameplay.
This is very interesting, although it took about 9 years for someone to make a WC2 add-on into the WC3 engine. Tracking due to how awesome this will be.
Nice, I kicked *** at WC2. Would be cool to see this on the WC3 Engine. ^^

I will keep some Warcraft 3 mechanics but most of the gameplay will be almost exactly like WC2, except a little more refined. Oil tankers are also in!
I hope this is in English.
Right now it is in italian but I will translate everything to english once I release the first beta. The only reason I'm making this in italian for now is that since my Warcraft 3 has italian text and voices it looked better.
