This is gonna be awesome! But maybe it might be a bit excess, i think Gekokujo had a slightly smaller number than it should have

Wait.. so if there are more castles and villages, will it allow lords to have bigger parties? If yes, then it may result in epic battles of thousands.

yes but i'm thinking of maybe adding separate updates for bigger parties and lower parties for low end machines

The problem is not the battle, it's the number of parties on the map that will slow the game and freeze, when i'm playing Warsword conquest mod i have this problem it takes like 5 min just to wait in a town to end a day, but I have no problem running battles of more than 250 men with the battle sizer.

But the mod looks perfect to me and I will not cry for this :D

Did you have played with the Warband Battle Sizer? The problem is the native m&b engine cant handle battles over 200 man on each side very well > lags and freezes are the result, trust me thats not what you want ;)

I'd say that sounds excessive.

May I suggest, this might be too hard to do, but ever since learning about it, ive thought it would be amazing for M&B Warband. The invasion of Korea in the 1590s.

We could have Ming China and Korea has other factions. More diversity in weaponry, armor, troops, and combat

But anyway, this sounds great :D

At first I was thinking that the number of castles may be a bit much but then looking at the number of faction to announced (30), it makes sense to have that number of castles, I personally say run with it for now and maybe if it is too much update it removing some of the less important castles or a separate download if potable for people with less powerful machines as I'm guessing having that many fiefs and lords may tank a bit.

i was thinking like that to be honest when i was speaking with my team members we all had this question what about low end and less powerful machines what should we do about them ? but i had the same idea as you maybe separate updates for them !!

With the amount of factions you're having and the fact its gonna increase the play-ability of the mod, nah it sounds great. Also if it makes it so that the Lords have bigger armies compared to the average of 50-100 that's gonna be awesome

My biggest complaint about the previous version I've played of this mod from an aesthetics points of view, is that nearly every town looked identical.

From the viewpoint of gameplay, I'm okay with this. But only if you have FAR more visual diversity from location to location than before (although if recent screenshots are accurate to go by, this does appear to be improved upon nicely). I'm one of those weird Mountain Blade players who actually enjoys going into towns and role-playing. :)

Otherwise, looking forward to the update!

yes we are trying to make it as much as diverse as possible many places with many scenes i would really love having each place with each scene but that's just painful to do and will take a lot of time!!
and i don't quite understand you by saying prevous versions cuz we didn't release anything yet maybe you eant gekokujo (which is a great mod by the way)this will be more improved and more polished then it!!

Oh, sorry I thought you were using assets from that mod.

Yeah with 750 castles/villages they can't all be unique certainly, but it would be great to see *some* diversity, making it worth exploring varies locations. If your work is nearly as good as you're making it sound, I have no doubt it'll be incredible. Looking forward to it, and thanks!
