It reminds me somewhat of Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons helmets, without the all regalia and additions in Egyptian style.
It would be great (if it is possible, of course) that every legion/chapter have it's iconic armor/or different armor patterns, weapons, etc.

Well, that would be great, but, as far as I understand it, you would then have to make 18 new "races" each one representing one of the Legions. For Chapters, you would need even more. What I was planning for mod is to create, for example 4 different chest armors, 5 different leg armors and so on, and let AI randomize all the parts, so you would get unique looking Marines. There would be similar ones, but still better than vanilla generic ones. Every one of these helmets should be a possible head for tactical marines.
Yeah, randomisation is essential (there are a couple of excellent mods, FOK particularly, known for that). Possible solution may be as in one excellent mod, previously know as Dark Prophecy, that every "race" has it's special building that allows you to choose specific legion/army/chapter/sept/clan/warband/etc. That gives you an option to build some units that are specific for that chapter. That is a lot of work, though :) Just an idea
I didn't know that, about the DP mod, it does sound interesting, and I did have in mind similar idea, although for something quite different. And yes, I presume that is quite a lot of work :) for now, I don't think we will go in that direction, but who knows, later if we have enough people, maybe we do something similar. Vladomije, haj samo baci pogled na model marinca pa mi reci sta mislis. Trudio sam se da ga napravim da bude onako, malo vise "natovaren" sto se oklopa tice, da izlgeda kao SM.
