Do you think it's possible (for you) to integrate some of the camarilla edition contents? Since it's impossible to play the game with more than 1 mod active, i would like to have more things possible all together.
Theoretically it's possible, but personally I don't like most CE additions you are probably talking about. Especially the constant blood loss, because it goes against the source material and hinders exploration!
bloodpool is just like a mana bar for mages. Myabe you could change timer (4min -> 10min)
If you lie exploration, what about the inspection system? that was made for exploration and to make inspection useful.
And these changes could be in the "plus" patch
Bloodloss gives time pressure which I don't like at all. The inspection system would probably need a change to all maps, and I don't want to do that so late in development...
i would also ask if it's impossible to fix those 2 bugs that annoy me every time: 1 random attack after using the taxi
2 (most important) auto switch from 3rd person to 1st person view. i can understand if it's done when i switch from melee to guns but not if i just open a door or i use a ladder
1. Binding attack away from "Enter" might help with this one.
2. I don't know if this is even possible! But you can check the "Free View Weapons" in the Patch Extras/Player Mods folder to see if these help.
I need to instal the 11.3 or the 11.4 includes the content of 11.3?

I love Bloodlines, I play through it atleast once a year ever since 2011.
I hope to be finished with patching once 20 years are gone ;).
Any thoughts on restoring some of the cut concepts Tim Cain mentioned on his channel recently?
I think we already did. When he talks about the Bradbury Building, he means the atrium from Bladerunner which we restored years ago. To simulate the cut multiplayer mode I made the hunter campaign, but interest just isn't there and we can't make a real Counter-Bite because players can't hurt each others. His ideas for the two expansions are great though, but we need to finish the Prelude first ;)!

How do I get my computer to confirm this file? It's continually being isolated.
That depends on your OS, in Windows 10 you can open the security center, go to last actions and allow the file.
May I ask why ocean house whispers are removed which brings most nostalgic horror elements and also chants to temple fight? Just curious?? If I get answer, can you tell me how to bring them back manually in folder menu?
The Ocean House whispers were removed because they are just the normal Malkavian whispers, which makes no sense at all once you play a Malkavian yourself and notice this. It was argued that when the temple is attacked there won't be anybody uninvolved enough to chant in the background. Both issues can manually be changed by editing sound/schemes/oceanhouse_interior* and /temple_1.txt...
i am not sure if the bug is related to the clan i chose. Malkavian. But i can talk repeatedly to boris. i can do the same dialouge choices endlessly. nothing changes. its not game breaking or anything. i can take his money and his ring. normally i get shot after i get his ring or money. thanks again for all the work. i have the 11.4.5.1. i noticed the newest 11.4.5.2. i just wanted to ask if it was fixed with the latest one. there is one more. when i asked heather to leave and the dialouge ends. there is a split second that i can talk to her again. when i do that the camera goes away and the game gets soft locked.the dialouge took place right after i meet her. i have recorded the first bug but i havent recorded the second one.
There are probably several places where you can loop dialogues, but please tell me with which order of lines it happens? About Heather, is this in front of the Venture Tower? Also what exactly was your last line to her?

nothing happens. i can even loot. and then repeat the same dialouge over and over again.
the second thing i noticed is when i convince him that dima is betraying him he says his line and does nothing then dima kills him.
as for heather. during the first encounter i tell her to leave me. she says ok. then i go to my heaven. i tell her to leave there too. she says ok. as the screen goes black there is a split second for me to press e again. thats where the game soft lock and the camera flies in one direction.
About Dima, I think you are right. Boris should attack you and Troika just forgot this for Malkavians. I will fix that and I will also try to make him fight Dima better!
About Heather, I will make her stop being able to talk to then, also in all other havens...

I just had a glitch I've never encountered before. In the Skyline Apts downtown I was doing the usual things upon gaining the new haven and sneaking into the other apts the tried to use the elevator to go up to the 6th floor to advance the plaguebearer quest when the Elevator became unresponsive. Wouldn't come to my floor, or make the noise like it was running either. Went back to the vents to get out of the building and then also left the dowtown hub, but it was still broken. On the ground floor the door would open but there was no elevator there just a fancy wallpapered shaft. And if you went in and let the doors close, you could not get back out. I guess my Malkavian caused a crazy glitch?
did you install the latest patch? i did not encouter such glitches on my malkavian playthrough.i am using 11.4.1
This could be the most infamous Bloodlines bug, which is connected to playing long sessions in one go. If anything strange is happening in the Skyeline Apartments, save outside, quit the game, restart it and load the save.
Just downloaded this and
- was unable to convince Gimble to go to blood bank (persuasion 10)
- there’s no background music in the hubs of any areas
- could not buy armour from vendors of new area
- used cheats to give new armour, game crashes every single time i open up the armour section of inv
any idea if these are bugs or if there’s anyway to fix it on my end? none of these issues were present before installing patch
Did you continue an old save from before patching? You mustn't do that.
I did not :( I was part-way through a game but there were too many glitches so I restarted with the patch installed
Reinstall the patch then, because these bugs are not normal...

I’ll add that the first time I launched the game with the patch installed, it started with the patched version but crashed when the Sheriff was killing the Sabbat in the tutorial stage, and when I started it up normally again it played the non-patched version. I had to use the loader to play the patch again. Just adding in case anyone else faces this

I appreciate the work, but really there's no reason to "fix" the book exploit at least in the basic patch

But that feels like cheating :)
I mean the game is easy enough there's no real reason to cheat
But the fact skill points work so perfectly with the cheat,makes me feel like it was intentional, or even if it wasn't, it just fits perfectly
But seriously I think this is something that belongs in the Extra Patch
People who play the game with the basic patch (especially new players), I feel they should have the same experience we did 20 years ago, just without the gamebreaking bugs
And btw really thank you for all the great work all these years and special thanks for the Linux patch
I have moved it to the plus patch in the latest RC from yesterday, but I'm pretty sure it's not intended. Otherwise they wouldn't have made the books disappear after you read them...
Fat Larry doesn't sell light clothing and whenever I use commands to spawn one in my inventory, it crashes my game as I click on it. Any workarounds for this?
Yes, that was a known bug of the first 11.4rc6, just go to vdata/items and delete all item_a_* files to fix it!

many thanks for your dedication to this project. I have three possible bugs to report for the Plus version of this patch, however. I play the GoG version and installed the new patch over the one included in the game download (9.5 basic).
Some maps may replace models arbitrarily, mostly doorknobs. Most recent example was at the museum entrance, where all traffic lights, the cab, and doorknobs had been replaced by rhino statues from the museum proper (screenshots: Imgur.com).
This also happened in my previous game (9.5 basic), where all doorknobs in the basement of the Skyeline apartment complex were replaced by one of the paintings from the Ocean House Hotel.
In both cases, a full reload (exit to title, NOT a quickload) resolved the issue.
I could not get Knox to admit to his scheme before accepting his quest even though I had Persuasion and Investigation feats of 5 and 4, respectively. If memory serves, the feat requirements shouldn't be this high.
Reloading of any kind, as well as completing some more unrelated quests before talking to Knox in the Asylum, did not fix the issue.
Clothing sold by Fat Larry (to a Brujah male) has the same icon as the default one. I am not entirely sure this is actually a bug, but I vaguely remember the icons being different, so please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
I hope you find this useful in some way. None of these are game-breaking by any means, but I figured I'd tell you just to be safe.
Thanks for the feedback, here are my comments:
1) About random models appearing, this is caused by a memory hole if you play long sessions in one go. As you already know, restart the game to fix this!
2) To get Knox's secret you need Perception > 2 now, to make it consistent to other situations in the game and to restore it to the original condition.
3) Oops, this is a fix gone wrong after I improved the hunter armor icons in the first 11.4RC6. I have just upload hotfix RC6.5 today to correct this!
I appreciate your comments; apologies for not reading the patch notes properly regarding the Knox "issue." Glad I could be of help with the clothing icon.
I might have another potential bug to report:
The chandeliers at the entrance of the Downtown Library look as though they were assigned the wrong texture (screenshot: Imgur.com).
Restarting the game has no effect. I have yet to apply the icon hotfix, however. (By the way, would I have to start a new savegame for that as well?)
They are actually supposed to look that way. In the real LA public library they have lots of colorful items on top, but as we can't easily create new models for Bloodlines this was the best that burgermeister could do.
