We have decided to give Vode An a brand new story. We'll deliver you an action-packed, immersive Star Wars plot, with commandos involved. Vode An is getting more ambitious, and that important factor as the story should reflect that.
As for the second news, Vode An will be standalone. We think the changes we're introducing will be far too complex for a mod. Game engine will reflect that changes as well.
Stay tuned!
We are slowly returning to work on the mod, adding new models to our collection!
We proudly present you a highly-detailed Republic Commando model for Star Wars: Jedi Academy. The model is provided by "Vode An: Delta Squad" mod team...
If it's not dead, why hasn't there been news since March? It's already June.
oooo republic commando model ;) is this only multiplayer?
i wantt it to be done. [frustrated grunt]
me too :x
so?
So, if it's still live then you should post progress.
Since you guys aren't releasing this mod any time soon, why don't you just release the models as stand-alone?
why should we?
Why shouldn't you? No other reasons must exist apart from 'we just don't want to' (which is unjust) Would certainly keep the interest up.
No, we don't want the models to be used in no other purpose than the mod.
...That makes -no- sense. People can easily take the assets from this mod once you fully release it anyways, if you ever do. To an extent, that's a selfish move. People might just want to use them in JAMP, JASP or even RP servers (what remain) could use them 'effectively'.
I still don't understand why e-peen (ego) issues still exist on such an outdated game... Give credit where it's due and request permission if needed, simple as that. Jeez.
No, you won't access the models in the full mod cause of protection module we have. And no, this mod is obviously not dead. And I really want to believe people would use it for fun, but there's plenty of people stealing others work for their own mods and we don't want to give them a chance.
How can you have a protection module on Jedi Academy?
If you did the files wouldn't load.
Because this mod is obviously dead. You have a group of two people working on something that would take several years, because of the old game engine you are using. You should use Fallout 3 or Skyrim's game engine. Bethesda Softworks has a program that let's you make your own mods and it's a lot easier than using a 9-year-old game engine.
look great cant wait
