During a search for a lost girl, two close friends make a shocking discovery. Deep in the thick forests of Sweden, they find a deserted town, with no signs of any life within miles. Just as the two friends are about to leave the town to call the police, they are both dragged into a compelling mystery surrounding the decietful past of the town, Hovgård.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is built up using sprites, environment lights and (heavy) color correction.
Grain effect and black bars: Yes, these are made in Photoshop. The screenshots have not been altered in ANY other way.
Vignette effect: This is an effect that is 100% in-game and working. For those of you who dont know what it is, it's the blackened out borders of the screen. It adds for a more claustrophobic feeling. ;)
i am really looking forward to explore this hallway.. forget that!... i wanna explore the whole town! :D

A bit like Silent Hill but better even... good work, looking detailed and dirty, just the way I like it.
Hey guys, this is awesome... Great work!
I'm one of the lads from an old HL2 mod called Mentality which we wanted to have a similiar look and feel...
Yours is just fantastic though :)
One note, the window light from the previous picture showing the classroom and blackboard is present in this photo, it seems someone forgot to turn off a layer in PS :P
but thats its guys, awesome stuff!
hey frenzel, glad that you've found the way to "visage" ^^
i spoke to cgSprite yesterday and had a little chat about your (still over the top and "just fantastic" too btw!) "mentality" project, also about the other team-members... i hope he told you, that we would be very proud to welcome you guys in anyway! so if you want further information please contact milo or me!
