As one the two opposing armies charged one another, the battle before the gate was brutal and fierce, many died on both sides and it is said that the soldiers had to wade through the blood. In the end Vladimir fell back to the keep he had taken the night before and stayed there. Although the Nords did try to drive him out he held his ground and the Nords were pushed back time after time. Now it is two centuries later, and the two houses have a truce. The valley has become ever more wild, bandits and outlaws profiting from the ancient blood feud between the two rival houses. The forest has come back and the trees have grown tall again, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the hate. Although the two houses are officially at a truce, both would love to see the other one dead, and would give anything to avenge the ancestors they look on as heroes.
