«Local Conflicts: Nam ‘68» is a modification for the game «Men of War: Assault Squad 2» from the Digitalmindsoft company, basis on theme of Vietnam War 1965-1975. In the modification we'll present all the main parties and military formations of the war, such as: the North Vietnamese Army, VietCong, the US Army, the USMC and the Army of South Vietnam.

The modification is based on the history of the Vietnam War of 1965-1975, in the role of separate units in different parts of South Vietnam, for which you will go through this war from beginning to the end. You are expected for close to realism battles, jungles, traps, ambushes, defense bases, fire support, reconnaissance and much more. The modification claims the authenticity of the time. Easy gameplay? Never will be. Armament, equipment, scenery - everything will correspond to that time and convey its atmosphere. The modification will also include a Multiplayer component, including with the main countries of the war.

The project is quite ambitious and touches upon a difficult theme, everything that is present in the modification is done by ourselves, resources are not taken from anywhere, and any proposals for taking one or another resource from this or that project will be rejected.

The modification has been living for several years, but has recently taken on its rapid development. No one is going to leave the project, the news will be published according to the schedule in 2-3 weeks. On the project are working the Age Local Conflicts Team (ALC Team). ALC Team was formed in the summer of 2016 and consists of five people. Our team is united and strong, and intends to finish what it does to the end.

Follow the news of the project, rate, comment. Sincerely, ALC Team.

Hello guys! This is the last news in 2019 year. We want to sum up results of the ending year and tell about the future of our mod.

This year was very rich and quiet productive for us.

We‘ve made a lot of human skins models, vehicles, weapons for U.S.Army, USMC and NVA. We also did a lot of new entourage textures which replace original low quality textures. Mod has a lot of content and we keep working on a new things everyday! Besides, 3 new people joined to our team and work has accelerated.

In 2020 year we will continue work and we planned to make more content for Vietnamese side, finish main models for U.S.Army & USMC and continue work on story campaign.

We wish you happy New Year and thank you for all your support and activity on our page!

Sincerely, ALC Team.

As the update says, the release date is unclear. A lot of work is being done, a lot of it is stuff that isn't worthy of constant updates, but there is plenty of work being completed.

The guys want to make sure it's in a complete and polished state for release.

I can't speak for the team leaders, but I think we are okay right now. I am working on a map that I think you guys will love. It's been a little slow going, as I'm new to the team, but I really hope it will live up to the Khe-Sanh hype.
