Victoria 2.5
Full Version 2 commentsA port of Victoria 2 to the HOI4 engine, with formable nations and limited colonization. You should be able to start as any independent nation on January...
Greetings.
This is Emperor Scorpio, maker of the Planet-Wide City Mod for Stellaris. I have decided to try and port Victoria 2 to HOI4, while using the new features of HOI4 to make Victoria 2 even better. I always loved that game and I wish to put some life back into it.
This is still early alpha and is nowhere near complete. However, the map is done and some starting leaders are done for some countries like Prussia, Brazil, and China. Many are still left to be done.
(There is now an opening screen with the 8 Great Powers of 1836 along with their leaders in that year. Much more to be done, but I hope you enjoy what is there so far. Also, if you have Waking the Tiger, you can form Germany as any of the German states if you control modern Germany's land. I am still working on this feature. Please test out my very early alpha "colonization", as well. As a great power you can colonize a neighboring state for a loss of political power. This is still very much a work in progress.)
Also, for the people with map problems, I do not think that my mod plays well with others. If you have other mods on, things could go wrong. Once again, I will see what I can do, but please give time and give information on if you have other mods on. Furthermore, you may have to "clear user directory" by clicking the button that says that on the launcher and then reinstall the mod. Sorry for the inconvenience, but Paradox games often have issues with large map changes.
I will accept help with this because I am just one man, please help me to make Victoria II great again!
On a serious note, thank you for your patronage, your help, and/or your support. Thank You.
Alpha version: Map is done, game is playable (sort of).
P.S.
I am now on Patreon. One may donate to me if they are feeling generous. Remember, my mod is completely free and always will be, but any donations really help me out. (I spend most of my money on a college education.)
